Caronia - Lounge

A belated Merry Christmas and advance Happy New Year everyone! ♥

When I first saw Caronia's Lounge (from their Bright Nights Series) on the shelf of a local supermarket, I immediately got a hold of it. As you may have known I'm now very fascinated with polishes that has a "FOIL'' type effect. Plus Lounge has this Christmas-y color that I love! :)

Lounge in my opinion when applied on its own is a bit on the sheer side. So you may have to put more than 2-3 coats to achieve a nice effect. But what I did was layered it over Moss, another Caronia polish (swatches from a previous post CLICK HERE ) I really liked the outcome of my little experiment. hehe :)

I will certainly buy the other shades from this collection!

Ombre Christmas Nails

Hello!

I have tried the so-called ombre/gradient/sponge technique before. Using my finger! Yes, my thumb! :) But after watching a tutorial on youtube, I finally learned the correct way and things to use for the particular technique. Wouldn't you know it, I am loving it!! :)

Eeekk I need more sponge!!!

Bobbie - Weng Weng (HOLO)

This post is dedicated to ALL holo polish lovers out there! ♥

As you may have known, I'm not really a fan of holographic polish though I have a few in my stash. But since I wanted to show everyone some really awesome local polishes, I bought Weng Weng from Bobbie another well known brand here in the Philippines. They actually have I think 6 shades from the collection which all are holos. But for me, WengWeng was the most outstanding of them all. No worries, I will try to get ahold of the other shades and show it with you all. :)

Some added info.,
when I do swatches for my blog I don't put top coat. And I usually take photos outdoor on natural light. I only edit my photos to crop it and add watermarks.


Moving on with Weng Weng, I hope that you are ready for some HOLOness!!! :)

Snowman and Heart Nail Art

Happy Holidays in advance!

Christmas is just around the corner, I'm excited to be celebrating it with my family. ♥

I haven't done nail art for a long time and when I did this two, my hands were literally shaking! :( I don't know why. Plus, my top coat sucks to be seen with the smudges on mr. Snowman. I really need to buy Seche Vite.

With the hearts, it was just a random design I did in like 15mins. but still with my hands shaking. It is really nice having a blog, cos eventhough I'm not that good I still get to share my passion for nail art and polish. I realized that I shouldn't be affected with what "OTHER" people will say about my creations. As long as I have friends that appreciates me, then I'm satisfied. ♥

Am I Not Good Enough?

I know that I haven't been posting for a long time. And I'm really sorry for that.

It's just that I have been feeling down. I feel that I am not good enough for this art. That I am worthless. Yes I did feel all of those things at the same time. My self confidence is really really low now. :(

Adventure Time Nails

Hello girls!
SORRY if I have been missing in action for a long time!

I now have short nails. YES! I had to chop off my long nails.
The reason? It is kinda getting in the way with my household chores. But having short nails won't stop me from doing nail art.

My 8year old sister loves watching Adventure Time.
Who doesn't?! I'm 25years old and I love it!
I only did Jake and Finn since they're a lot easier to do. hehe. :) It is messy since my top coat sucks! But who cares. hahaha.

Strawberry Candies

It is officially now the start of the "BER" months! Plus my birthday next month(OCTOBER 8) haha. :) I'm excited coz I'll get to buy some nail thingys again. :)

I know to some of you nail STAMPING is an easy technique. Plus another nice way to get instant art on the nails. Right? :) I have been doing nail stamping for quite some time now. In my experience it can be messy. Well actually depending on my mood. hahaha. It is just frustrating when you are doing the right way, but still can't get all the design on the stamper! But hey as I have been saying just keep on practicing!! :)

Musical Notes

Hey! Hey! Hey!
Ladies, I have a few posts in line for you all. 
Just haven't had the time. :)

Since my previous blog post was a polish swatch,
it is now time for some nail art! YEY!!! :) The story behind this was when I was
helping my little sister do her homework in music. She is in grade2 by the way.
While browsing her book I saw musical notes. I then got the idea to do a design that
same night. :)

The particular design is VERY common.
So I gave it a lil twist and instead of the usual black musical notes, I did it in
different colors! :) Isn't it obvious that I really like RAINBOW colors? hehehe.
I'm sorry if my musical notes isn't perfect.
I so suck at freehand!!! :(

Color Club - Wild At Heart

For today's post, I'll be showing some photo swatches of Wild At Heart from Color Club. I'm not a big fan of holo polsihes. The only thing I like about with this particular shade is that it kinda looks really nice on my nails! hahaha. Please agree with me! (^__^)

For added info. I got Wild At Heart from a nail swap about a year ago! ♥
Oh and it also works good for stamping. Don't you just like polishes with double
purposes? I do!!! Saves me money. haha. :)

You're probably asking, WHY THE HELL DON'T I LIKE HOLO POLISHES??
Well it's because in my opinion, you only get to see the beauty of it when under the
sunlight. Am I right? Please don't get me wrong. I love ALL kinds of nail polishes. 
But I love the glitter ones more. :) Specially those indi polishes I have been seeing on
other blogs. Oh they are to die for! Too bad I can't have one. But it's ok! :)
